Run by Graham Brown and Julie Potter, Modern Mobility have just celebrated their 9th anniversary, including a fabulous 3 years at Fosse Park shopping centre.
Situated just by the side door entrance to British Home Stores, the shop offers unrestricted parking space for those wishing to browse the range of products on offer, or indeed to hire a wheelchair or electric scooter for use on the park.
Open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, the business has built up a fine reputation for it's friendliness and helpfulness.

Ably assisted by their delightful staff - Conrad, Hilary and Tracy, the owners pride themselves on being able to provide assistance to anyone requiring whatever help is needed, from a simple walking stick right up to a state of the art electric scooter so essential for a little independence.

The Fosse Park Shopmobility scheme has almost 1000 members who can hire a wheelchair, walking aid or scooter to enjoy their shopping experience throughout the park. With free joining, manual wheelchairs & walking aids are free of charge to borrow, with a small charge for electric scooters of only £1.50 for the first hour, followed by 50p per half hour afterwards. There is no time restriction within Modern Mobility's opening hours.
