Our own trained engineers are fully qualified to take care of all of your servicing, maintenance, repairs and insurance work to the highest standards possible.
Our staff have a combined total of almost fifty years of professional experience in this field, together with which they are also extremely caring individuals. They and everyone else in our business are committed to ensuring your continued independence and safety.

We are a fully licensed provider of insurance & extended warranties on new & used equipment. Mobility scooter users neither need to take a driving test nor hold a licence to use a scooter. Also, to date, there is no legal requirement for insurance, but of course this is highly recommended and the genuine benefits far outweigh the small cost.
For example at only £86 for a one year fully comprehensive policy, the peace of mind it brings is more than worth it.
Whether you are a Modern Mobility customer or not, you can purchase our insurance independently and have us exclusively on call for dealing with your work on any policy claims.

Naturally all Modern Mobility products carry a comprehensive parts and labour warranty. But what happens further down the line, particularly with electric or motorised products such as Scooters, Powerchairs, Stairlifts and Rise & Recline armchairs? Much like with a car, nobody really knows quite if or when something might go wrong, even when everything’s been done right! Also as with a car, service and maintenance will of course ensure longevity and dependability. That’s why we offer the option of an extended warranty up to five years long if required.
Modern Mobility extended warranties really are second to none, covering every eventuality and turning a purchase into a long term investment.
If a problem arises, you simply pick up the phone and help will be with you.

Non Modern Mobility customers: At Modern Mobility, we are fiercely anti-cowboy. We do not particularly admire the ethics of the current trend in online selling or ‘chain store’ retailing. Such questionable sales tactics are already bad enough when inflicted on the public in general. Where the more vulnerable disabled and elderly are concerned, we find it simply reprehensible.
Countless people come to us for rescue after having bought something at a price which seemed too good to be true, or spent their money with a business which has suddenly disappeared. We have every sympathy if this has happened to you, but be assured this most certainly will not exclude you from our service. We are here and available to help you, no matter from where or from whom you bought!
You can come and take out one of our extended warranties whether your product is almost new or several years old. You will then be secure in the knowledge that whatever happens, you have Modern Mobility to take care of you from that moment on.
Exactly the same applies for our insurance policies.

Along with our stocks of spare and replacement parts for several of the leading brands, Modern Mobility also keep a range of the faster moving essentials such as tyres, batteries and bulbs. If by any chance what you need isn’t in stock, we will endeavour to source it and obtain it for you.
