There are many types of wheelchairs and many different adaptations that can be made to each one to make it unique to the user. Designs and usability vary completely. Body size, home environment, strength and mobility are some examples of what needs to be assessed to find the chair for you.

Not all wheelchairs are a permanent fixture for an individuals impendence and can be a temporary product to enhance and aid the users mobility, however the comfort and durability is still the main priority whether temporary or long term.
