Easy Folding and Compact Storage
The Gemino 30 uses a fold-and-click system that allows the frame to fold inwards quickly. When completely folded, the rollator locks into position and measures just 230mm wide across all three standard sizes.
This slim folded profile can make it easier to store the rollator at home or transport it in a vehicle. The manufacturer recommends folding the rollator before lifting or carrying it.
Three Sizes for Different Users
Rather than relying on one frame size for everyone, the Gemino 30 range is available in three versions:
- Gemino 30 – recommended for users approximately 150–200cm tall
- Gemino 30M – recommended for users approximately 135–170cm tall
- Gemino 30S – recommended for users approximately 125–165cm tall
The smaller Gemino 30S is also narrower at 550mm overall, compared with 600mm for the Gemino 30 and 30M.
Designed for Everyday Indoor and Outdoor Use
The Gemino 30 is intended for use indoors and outdoors on flat, firm surfaces. Its stable frame, brakes and 200mm wheels provide everyday walking support, while integrated reflectors improve visibility in lower-light conditions.
When you need a rest, the built-in seat can be used once the parking brakes are securely engaged.
Important: Always choose the correct Gemino 30 size for the user and make sure the handles and brakes are adjusted correctly before use.
Colours and Optional Accessories
The Gemino 30 is available in a range of frame colours, including Black, Blue, Green, Mink, Pink, Red and Silver, depending on current availability.
Optional Gemino accessories may also include items such as a back support, LED light, tray, crutch holder and other practical additions. Availability can vary by configuration.

Choosing the correct size
Recommended user height provides a useful starting point, but handle position, posture and seat height should also be considered. If you are unsure which size is appropriate, seek advice before use.
Specifications are supplied by Sunrise Medical and may be updated as part of ongoing product development.
Using the Gemino 30 Rollator
Before use, make sure the Gemino 30 is fully opened, the frame has locked into position and the brakes, wheels and handles are secure.
Adjusting the Handle Height
Correct handle height helps provide a more comfortable walking position and allows you to use the rollator without unnecessarily bending forwards.
1. Stand upright behind the rollator wearing your usual footwear.
2. Keep your shoulders relaxed and your arms slightly bent.
3. Adjust both push handles to a comfortable and equal height.
4. Make sure both handles are securely locked before walking.
5. Once the correct position has been found, the Gemino 30 memory function can help return the handles to the same height after they have been lowered for transport.
Using the Brakes
The brake handles are used to control the Gemino 30 while walking and to keep the rollator stationary when required.
Squeeze both brake handles to slow or stop the rollator.
Engage the parking brakes when the rollator needs to remain stationary.
Always engage the parking brakes before sitting on the seat.
Check that both brakes operate correctly before each use.
Using the Rest Seat
Only use the seat when the Gemino 30 is positioned securely on a flat, stable surface.
Engage both parking brakes before sitting.
Sit fully on the seat with your back facing the direction of travel.
Make sure the rollator remains stable before putting your full weight onto the seat.
Important: The Gemino 30 is a walking aid with a rest seat. It must not be used to transport a person while they are sitting on the rollator.
Folding the Gemino 30
Pull the folding strap to bring the two sides of the rollator together. When the Gemino 30 is completely folded, the frame locks automatically in the folded position.
All three standard Gemino 30 sizes fold to approximately 230mm wide, helping make the rollator easier to store or transport.
Fold the rollator before lifting or carrying it and use the designated lifting points rather than lifting it by loose accessories or the seat.
Negotiating Kerbs and Thresholds
The Gemino 30 includes a rear tipping bar to help raise the front wheels when approaching small kerbs and thresholds.
Press the tipping bar gently with your foot while applying controlled pressure through the handles to raise the front wheels. Approach obstacles slowly and make sure you remain stable before continuing forwards.
Using the Basket
The Gemino 30 includes a practical basket for carrying everyday items. The manufacturer specifies a maximum basket load of
5kg.
Keep items securely inside the basket and avoid hanging heavy bags from the push handles, as additional weight in the wrong position can affect the stability and handling of the rollator.
Before Each Use
Check the following:
• The frame is completely opened and securely locked.
• Both brakes operate correctly.
• The push handles are secure and set to the correct height.
• The wheels rotate freely and show no obvious damage or excessive wear.
• The seat and folding mechanism are secure.
• The basket is not overloaded.
• There are no loose, worn or damaged components.
Cleaning and Regular Care
Clean the frame regularly using a soft cloth and suitable mild cleaning solution. Keep the wheels, brakes and folding mechanism free from excessive dirt and debris.
Check the rollator regularly for wear, particularly around the wheels, brakes, push handles, seat and folding mechanism.
If any component becomes damaged or the rollator no longer operates correctly, stop using it until it has been inspected or repaired.
Visit a Modern Mobility store if you need help adjusting your Gemino 30, selecting the correct frame size or comparing it with other
rollators.
