Lightweight walking support for everyday use. This four wheeled rollator combines an adjustable frame, padded rest seat, locking brakes and useful storage in a folding design suitable for use around the home and on standard outdoor surfaces.

Lightweight Four Wheeled Rollator Walker with Seat

This lightweight four wheeled rollator is designed to provide additional support while walking without the bulk of a heavier walking frame. It combines aluminium and steel construction with four solid puncture-proof wheels, ergonomic handles and an integrated padded seat for resting when stationary.

The rollator can be used both indoors and outside the home on suitable surfaces, while the folding frame makes it easier to store or transport when not in use. An under-seat storage bag provides a convenient place for carrying small personal items or shopping.

It forms part of our wider range of rollators and walking aids for people who require additional stability and support when walking.

Key Features

  • Four wheel design – provides stable everyday walking support with swivelling front wheels for easier manoeuvring.
  • Padded rest seat – offers somewhere to sit when stationary and can be adjusted in height.
  • Padded backrest – provides additional support when using the seat.
  • Locking loop brakes – squeeze to slow or stop and push down to engage the parking brake.

Using the Lightweight Four Wheeled Rollator

Before use, make sure the rollator is fully opened, all four wheels are securely fitted and the frame is stable. Both sides should be adjusted evenly so the rollator sits level on the ground.

Adjusting the Height

Correct handle height helps you maintain a more comfortable walking position.

1. Stand upright behind the rollator wearing your usual footwear.
2. Keep your shoulders relaxed and your arms slightly bent.
3. Adjust both handles to a comfortable and equal height.
4. Make sure the fixings are fully secure before use.
5. If adjusting the legs, make sure the locating pins click fully into place.
6. Check that all four legs are set evenly and the rollator sits level.
How to find the right rollator height

Using the Brakes

The loop brakes operate in a similar way to bicycle brakes.
Squeeze both brake handles together to slow or stop.
Push both brake handles down to engage the parking brakes.
Pull the handles back upwards to release the parking brakes.
Check both brakes are operating correctly before use.

Using the Seat

The padded seat is intended for resting while the rollator is stationary.

Position the rollator on a stable, level surface.
Engage both parking brakes before sitting.
Make sure the rollator cannot move before transferring your weight onto the seat.
Do not exceed the 136kg / 21 stone maximum user weight.

Important: This product is designed as a walking aid. It should not be used as a wheelchair or pushed while somebody is sitting on the seat.

Folding and Storage

Use the folding mechanism to close the frame when the rollator is not in use. The padded backrest can also be removed if additional storage space is required. The under-seat bag is intended for carrying small personal items while walking.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the rollator using a damp cloth with mild detergent and dry it afterwards. Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaning products. Regularly check that:
The wheels rotate freely and are securely attached.
The folding mechanism operates correctly.
The brakes slow, stop and lock the rollator correctly.
The handles and adjustment fixings remain secure.
There are no loose, excessively worn or damaged components.
If a wheel becomes difficult to turn, the brakes stop operating correctly or any damage is found, stop using the rollator until it has been inspected.

Visit a Modern Mobility store if you need help selecting the appropriate version or adjusting your rollator.
