Correct positioning is important when using the Simplicity G. The cushion is labelled to help identify the correct front-to-back orientation on the wheelchair seat.
Positioning the Cushion

Find the rear label.
Locate the "Back Button" label on the underside of the cushion.

Place the cushion onto the seat.
Position the cushion so the rear label is located at the back of the wheelchair seat, with the label facing down.

Check the zipper position.
The zipper on the cushion cover should face towards the rear of the wheelchair seat.
Important: Do not alter a fitted cushion position prescribed by a healthcare professional. Incorrect positioning can affect comfort and skin protection.
Before Use
Check that the cushion is correctly positioned on the wheelchair and that the cover and cushion components are in good condition before use.
Take additional care if the wheelchair or cushion has been stored in a very hot or cold environment, as extreme temperatures can affect the temperature of the cushion components.
Regular cleaning of the Simplicity G outer cover is recommended. Always allow the cover and cushion components to dry fully before reassembling the cushion and returning it to the wheelchair.
Cleaning the Cushion Cover
Remove the outer cover
Locate the zipper at the rear of the cushion, unzip the cover and carefully remove the inner cushion.
Wash on a cold setting
The outer cover can be washed in a washing machine on a cold setting. Cleaning frequency should be based on use.
Clean the cushion
The inner cushion can be wiped using a damp cloth or suitable disinfectant. Do not submerge the cushion in water.
Allow to air dry
Allow the outer cover and inner cushion components to air dry completely before reassembly.
Refit the cover
Once completely dry, return the cushion to the outer cover, close the zipper and position the cushion correctly on the wheelchair.
